Following the change to assessment frequency for residents receiving rest home level care, we have added a new report in iAS to help you manage assessment due dates.
Currently, assessment due dates can appear in several areas of the software, including:
-
the overview page
-
the assessment list
-
the To Do Dashboard
-
the existing assessment due date report
These areas currently continue to reflect the previous six-monthly assessment frequency for all levels of care.
To support the updated assessment frequency, the new report (Resident Listing Assessment Due – New Zealand 2026) will calculate the next assessment due date using the following approach:
-
Rest home level of care: 12-monthly assessment frequency
-
Other levels of care: 6-monthly assessment frequency
This is an additional report and does not replace the existing assessment due date report. Facilities can choose which report to use, depending on whether they are continuing with the previous six-monthly frequency or aligning their assessment planning with the updated 2026 assessment frequency.
Please note that the due date information displayed in other areas of the software may not yet reflect this updated logic. We are working on a software enhancement to provide a consistent due date calculation across the relevant areas of the system.
