Thank you to everyone who joined us last month for our 6th interRAI Research Network Knowledge Exchange. The event brought together researchers and sector experts from across the motu, with many participants tuning in via Zoom.
The theme for this year’s conference was Connecting People and Data, with presenters using interRAI data to share insights into topics ranging from the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and assessment to housing and nutrition in aged care.
Emerging Researcher Award
| A major highlight of every Knowledge Exchange is the Emerging Researcher Award, which recognises outstanding work from an up‑and‑coming researcher. This year, we were delighted to present the award to Bill Li for his paper The demographic, temporal, and regional dynamics of loneliness in long‑term care in New Zealand: A secondary data analysis. Bill is our youngest recipient to date — a Year 13 student at Christ’s College in Christchurch — and his contribution reflects an impressive level of insight and curiosity. |
