Request training

You can register your interest in a range of interRAI training and refresher courses here.

Please note, that places are allocated according to priority to ensure urgent training needs are met first. 

Note that venue details are advised once assessors are confirmed for training. Every effort is made to place assessors on a training course as close to their home area as possible, however sometimes assessors may be required to travel if they urgently need training and cannot wait for the scheduled training session in their area.

If the session you are interested in appears to be full or is not listed, please contact the Education and Support team. If spaces become available due to cancellations from participants we will offer these places to those on our waiting list. 

We will work through the waiting list of those who have registered their interest to fill all sessions.

Urgent need for training

The Education and Support team is holding a small number of spaces in each training session for urgent requests, with each request considered based on the level of need. You are encouraged to register for training even if it looks like the schedule is full, as extra training is being provided in areas where the waitlists are greatest.

Please register for training as soon as possible if you currently have no staff interRAI trained OR you are aware that you will soon be in this situation (e.g. if your current trained assessor has resigned and you have no replacement).
