COVID-19: latest updates

interRAI Services at Level 2

Safety and wellbeing is our top priority and during Level 2 many of our people will remain working from home.

What this means for you
We will continue to engage with you as we have been, using technology to keep connected. However, where required, TAS-initiated meetings may take place at our Tory Street site and TAS employees may visit external sites subject to safety and wellbeing protocols.

Preparing for Level 1
We are now preparing for Level 1 and beyond, where we expect to continue many of the great ways we have connected, worked together and supported each other during the past few weeks.

Stay safe and well as we move through the alert levels. We will keep you posted, but if you have any feedback or questions please do get in touch.

Ngā mihi nui,
Michele McCreadie, General Manager interRAI services.

Kotahi Two-to-One

We are pleased to give a new target go-live date for the transition to a single software host site. It is 15 June 2020.

You can help us meet this target. Over the coming weeks, we'll be asking some users via email, to complete small actions to prepare for the transition from two hosts to one. We’ll also post these instructions on our website.

Midland/Central users please check your security questions
The first task for Midland/Central users is to check your Momentum security questions. On the Go-Live date you will need to use the ‘forgot password’ function to choose a new password. For this, you’ll need to answer your chosen security questions. Now’s a good time to check that you remember the answers, or if not, to choose new questions.

Training updates

Face to face training suspended until July
Keeping everyone safe is our priority during the pandemic. For this reason, we will not be holding any more face-to-face training until July. Those people booked into courses that were later cancelled due to COVID-19, have been placed on a waiting list, and will be offered the first available places. If this is you, we will be in contact shortly.

Distance learning is available
Until July, our focus is on offering distance learning. We have a small but growing number of training courses available now, you can see the full list at the link below.

LTCF training available soon
LTCF distance learning is in development now, and we expect to have it available in early June. If you need urgent LTCF training before this, (e.g. if your facility has no-one trained to conduct LTCF assessments) please contact us. We will look at an individual solution to meet your needs.

Assessment requirements

The Ministry of Health has published guidance on when and how often interRAI assessments must be carried out. Latest advice is available on the Ministry’s website, at the link below.

Our Wellington office

We will be re-opening our Tory Street site within the government guidelines for TAS employees and visitors by prior arrangement. We’ll also start to assess the re-opening of other TAS sites later this month.

Our Front+Centre meeting rooms in Wellington will not be open to the public but will be accessible to TAS employees and their visitors, using physical distancing and extra hygiene measures.
