Inside interRAI
News for your professional development

Welcome Arlo

interRAI Services has launched a training management system giving trainees registering for interRAI courses a more streamlined experience.

Our new system, Arlo, is powerful and purpose-built – and it is a local innovation from just down the road in Lower Hutt.
This has changed:
  • Once you have selected your training course, the interRAI website will take you to the new training management system to register.
  • The system will automatically send User Access Forms and Learning agreements to the trainee.

This stays the same:
  • You select your courses on the interRAI website.
  • You will need to return your completed and signed User Access Form and Learning Agreement at least 10 days before the course begins so we can confirm your spot.
If you require support or experience any issues, please contact interRAI Services at 0800 10 80 44 or

Adding an email address for your residents and clients

If you have a client/resident who uses email as a form of communication, you may wish to add this to their interRAI record.

We have noticed more of our clients and residents use email to contact whānau, friends and services and we have come up with a way for you to add an email address to the Overview page where it will appear on some reports.
Download the guide to adding email from the interRAI website

Changes to browser support

The interRAI software platform will not support Internet Explorer 11 after the next major upgrade, which is planned for mid-2020.
What action does my organisation need to take?
Check whether you are still using Internet Explorer and begin to plan for moving your organisation to a modern browser. Modern and supported browsers include Microsoft Edge, Chrome, Firefox and Safari.

interRAI Northern/Southern Security Side Certificates

If you access Momentum through the Northern/Southern host site (Canterbury DHB), you will need to load new client-side certificates for all devices before 6 August 2019 to ensure you can still access interRAI on the Momentum software.

The Northern/Southern Host client-side certificates are due to expire on 6th August 2019. We will email you a link to the package with the new certificates and full instructions. This will be provided as a share link for you to download.

If you access Momentum through the Central host site (Taranaki DHB), you will not need to make any changes.

Please call 03 378 6555 or email with any questions about the certificates.

Training booked but leave coming up?

Get in touch if you are booked onto interRAI training but might not be available for the whole training period of 8 weeks. This could be because you have leave booked or your visa runs out and you won’t be available to work in New Zealand anymore.

Make sure you let us know so we can reschedule your training.
