New look and feel for the interRAI software system

From 26 August 2019, the interRAI software system will have a new look and feel as we are activating a more modern and logical user interface.

The functionality stays the same, but some tabs and buttons may have moved locations. The chosen theme is called Metro Blue.

This is a welcome change, though we appreciate that it might require some adjustment. Make sure you contact interRAI Services with any issues or questions.

eLearning for readers of assessments

We have launched online training for health professionals who wish to read and understand their clients’ interRAI assessments.

The course is the first eLearning offering for interRAI users in New Zealand. It was developed to meet the growing demand from health professionals who use interRAI information to gain a better understanding of their clients’ functional abilities.

Users learn about:
  • how to access the interRAI software system
  • how to read and interpret assessment information
  • interRAI clinical decision support.
The course takes one hour to complete and is also a great general introduction to interRAI and the software system.

How to find incomplete assessments and draft items

The interRAI software system helps you find incomplete assessments and draft items.
Our new fact sheet Managing incomplete assessments/draft items is a step-by-step guide to:
  • running the Incomplete MDS/Assessments report
  • reviewing draft items.
We recommend assessors follow these steps once a month.
