Answer:               Code for both the diagnosis and the resultant paralysis, for example CVA/Stroke and  Hemiplegia as one affects function and the other affects the person's  medical treatments

Question:         Do I code for Coronary Heart Disease  if a person has Angina?

Answer:            Yes, this is a symptom of the pain caused by Ischemic Heart Disease
