Our structure and governance

interRAI Services is a business unit within TAS, part of Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand.

The Ministry of Health provides annual funding to cover the delivery of four business functions:

  • education and support services
  • reporting and analytics
  • governance and
  • software services.

The Ministry of Health holds a contract with Momentum Healthware as the provider of interRAI software in New Zealand, and services are provided according to a Service Level Agreement.

Oversight is also provided by our governance ecosystem.

Our relationship with the interRAI international organisation 

interRAI is a not-for-profit organisation committed to improving the quality of life for vulnerable people through a seamless comprehensive clinical assessment system.

interRAI is made up of a collaborative network of clinicians and researchers, called fellows, from more than 35 countries, including New Zealand.

There are four interRAI fellows in New Zealand, all are associated with our organisation.
