interRAI Services is the national provider of services to support interRAI and is a business group within the Central Region’s Technical Advisory Service (TAS) – a health shared services agency.

General Manager, interRAI Services

Michele is a Physiotherapist by background with many years’ experience in health and public sector management. Most recently, she was General Manager, Legal Aid Services at the Ministry of Justice and before that she held the role of Manager, Cancer Screening within the National Screening Unit.


Brigette Meehan web


Dr Brigette Meehan

National interRAI Services Manager

Brigette is a Speech and Language Therapist whose clinical background includes rehabilitation of people with a brain injury. Dr Meehan is an adjunct Professor at Massey University. She holds a Masters of Education from University of Canterbury. She most recently worked for the Ministry of Health and is currently one of two interRAI Fellows in New Zealand. (The other is Dr Nigel Millar, Chief Medical Officer, Southern District Health Board and a member of the interRAI New Zealand Governance Board).


Vij Kooyela web

Vij Kooyela

Manager, interRAI Reporting and Ananlysis

Vij has a background in data analysis and reporting. She has a Masters in Applied Statistics from Massey University and has nearly 15 years of experience in the New Zealand public sector. In her previous roles at MBIE, Ministry of Education, Te Puni Kōkiri and MSD, Vij worked mostly in quantitative research, data analysis and report writing roles. 


Deb Muliss

interRAI NZ Secretariat

Deb has worked in a number of public service organisations providing planning and policy advice and executive support to senior management. During her career Deb has also  delivered a number of complex change management projects including the Gender Integration Audit findings for the New Zealand Defence Force. 

Uli Trute

Senior Communications and Engagement Advisor

Uli has worked in senior communications and web roles for the Ministry for Primary Industries, Commerce Commission, and most recently in a sole charge role at Alzheimers NZ. She holds a communications degree from the University of Arts in Berlin.
